Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is the superabrasive of choice for grinding hardened ferrous materials. CBN has better thermal stability than diamond on steel, so CBN grinding wheels stay sharp, run cool and hold size. Fengzuan produces resin bond and vitrified bond CBN wheels for HSS, tool steel, die steel, bearing steel and hardened alloy steels, from small internal wheels to large straight wheels.

Resin Bond CBN Wheels
Sharp, cool cutting with low risk of burning and a fine surface finish. Resin CBN is well suited to tool sharpening and regrinding, centerless and face grinding.
Vitrified Bond CBN Wheels
Controlled porosity, good form holding and dimensional stability. Vitrified CBN can be dressed for profile accuracy and suits precision and production grinding, such as internal (ID) and cup wheel grinding.
CBN Wheel Shapes
1A1 CBN straight wheel
For cylindrical, surface and flute grinding of HSS and hardened steel.
1A8 / 1A1W CBN internal grinding wheels
Small-diameter wheels, from Ø10 mm, for bore grinding of bearing rings, gears and hardened bushings. See internal and centerless wheels.
11A2 and 12A2 CBN cup and dish wheels
For sharpening HSS cutting tools, drills, taps and cutters on tool grinders.
6A2, 6A2T and 14E1 CBN wheels
Cup wheels for face grinding and V-edge wheels for flutes, threads and profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Diamond or CBN – which do I need?
Use CBN for hardened ferrous materials such as HSS, tool steel and bearing steel. Use diamond for carbide, ceramics, glass and other non-ferrous hard materials. Diamond is not recommended for steel.
Resin or vitrified CBN?
Resin CBN cuts freely with a fine finish and suits tool sharpening. Vitrified CBN holds form and size and suits precision internal and production grinding.
What is the smallest CBN wheel you make?
Our diameter range starts from Ø10 mm, suitable for small internal grinding wheels.
Which grit and concentration are available?
Grit 80# to 3000# and concentration 50 to 150.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship by international express on FOB terms and already serve buyers in Russia, the USA, Germany, the UAE and Qatar.
